| Design Responsibilities, Truss Design Drawings |
| This 1-hour workshop discusses the roles of the parties involved in the use of metal plate connected wood trusses. In addition to presenting guidelines that can be used as an industry standard practice, the course includes a detailed discussion of the important information contained on truss design drawings. The goal of the course is to introduce the roles of the parties involved in the specification, design and installation of wood trusses, as well as familiarize participants with all aspects of the truss design drawings required by code to accompany all manufactured trusses. Upon completing the course, participants will understand the roles of the various parties involved in the use of wood trusses, and the information that is required on a truss design drawing. This course is approved by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.
